    GAME ON
Carr was put in a bad position being a starter Watson won't start he'll have time to grow.

Mayock can't say anything about his actual skill. All anyone can say is good kid, good leader, clutch.

Can't read defense, doesn't play smart football and has a low arm velocity.

Just like fuller last year, I hate this pick. However, he's our guy now so I won't spend my time bashing him. From this point forward I root for him.

Only thing I am happy about is the asking price to trade up is so damn light and that we did not take Pat. Not happy about trading up or taking QB in the first but I hope I am wrong.

You can give brock the "benefit of the doubt" but not Watson?

Oh I'm going to, but right now we're in the shock phase. He was the QB I was most worried about the Texans drafting due to his excessively weak passing speed and his interception potential so it's gonna take a while.

All I know is if watson isn't a homerun, and even if he is, the Texans have screwed up the qb situation pretty bad, look how much draft stock they have put in it.

Well that makes me less thrilled about this pick, Skip knows jack **** about sports (Manzel was his man).

I like that hat Watson was wearing. White with the logo. I think that's what the helmets should look like.

As an outsider looking in, I think this is a great move for the Texans. I'd take Watson over Trubiski any day. Other than BobbytheFlake and bigtex for obvious reasons, don't know why any of you would be upset at this.

Giving up two 1sts seems steep, but QB is the one position in the league where having an above average player can be the difference between a cellar dweller and a contender. If the Texans believe this guy could be an above average starting QB, then the guy is absolutely worth it. There wasn't likely going to be a can't miss prospect sitting there at 25 and there certainly wasn't going to be a non-QB sitting there at 25 that would make as much of a difference on this team as an above average QB would make. So I'm absolutely in favor of it.

But the guy better pan out, or a hell of a lot of people are going to be out of jobs soon, and it could set this team back years...

Let me get this straight, we play one of the hardest schedules next year, browns have our 1 and 2 pick for next year, watson needs to be red-shirted and we have an injury prone qb (savage), and top it off... rumors flying that OB might be leaving.

I want to like this pick, someone make me like this pick... anyone, anyone... bueller... bueller?
