so you have data that shows that Obamacare's been a success?

    can't wait to see that

the only good news I can point to is Obama's sinking approval rating, which bodes well for a GOP controlled Senate a year from now...

More than 4 million people have been added to Medicaid, so they have coverage they didn't have previously...

    http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news...bamaCare-Census-Romney-health-care/57789682/1

...and more than 2 million have signed up for private plans under the ACA, again people who wouldn't otherwise have had coverage...

In addition, insurers can no longer discriminate against people with "preexisting conditions," cannot place caps on benefits, and freeloaders will have to at least pay a fine for making the choice to not carry health insurance. The good news abounds, you just have to look past the ranting of right wing pundits, the people at whom you seem to mindlessly bobble your head up and down.

You highlight numbers that are well below goals and claim them as success?

What about the 5,000,000 who lost their plans?

I don't accept your unsubstantiated claim, but even if I did, the VAST majority of those people were offered alternate plans and I would venture a guess that the VAST majority of them purchased one. As such, they didn't "lose" their plans, they just changed plans, as millions do every year.

    So answer this question:

Do you believe Obamacare has been a 100% success so far?

Of course not, but perfection is the enemy of progress.

Since I answered your question, if you would like me to continue discussing with you, I would like you to answer one of mine...

Do you think the system we had prior to the ACA was a better one than we have now?

So we agree that Obamacare has been botched so far.

Do you fear not enough healthy, young folks signing up, leaving Obamacare with more older, unhealthy people? Would a healthcare system work with such ratios?

Yes I believe Obamacare is far more dangerous than what we had before.

ROFL, delusion, thy name is texxx.

    Preexisting conditions
    Lifetime caps
Dropping coverage when someone gets sick

If you think that these (among other) systemic issues should have been allowed to continue, then you have allowed yourself to be deluded by pundits.

I wouldn't use the word "botched," though I understand why you do (drinking the GOP kool-aid again).

I don't fear that, I see more and more people signing up, in spite of Republicans urging their sheep not to. Eventually, the culture in this country will be such that carrying insurance will be the norm, even for young people. That is part of the reason for the mandate in the first place, so that freeloaders can't milk the system and leave the taxpayers with the tab.

And the teatrolls lose their minds!

Republicans are giving up because they know that winning is impossible when their leaders are determined to lose. These leaders have telegraphed weakness to the Democrats and sabotaged conservative efforts so many times that Republicans now have no leverage. There's only one solution.

John Boehner must be replaced as Speaker of the House.

"Unless we install a new leader who will actually go on offense, Democrats will never fear us and we will never have any leverage,"

    - Senate Conservatives Fund Executive Director Matt Hoskins

A scathing humiliation for the wingnut wing of the Republican Party.

    WOW!

Boehner pushes through debt limit increase without republicans. I guess he's pretty much said fukit to his job.

No it does not and has not worked under such ratios which was why the mandate was a necessity.

This is the system prior to the PPACA and the main reason for escalating healthcare costs. Insurance cannot function as a pool if everyone who has access to services does not contribute in premiums.
