I'm with you. I've seen folks giving her a hard time for this in a couple of places, but she was just excited to have won the gold medal. Hard to knock her for that. I compare it to tennis. As a player, you're not supposed to celebrate when your opponents commits an unforced error, but if that error comes on match point at Wimbledon, celebrating can be excused.

So why nobody commented about the women's Pole Vault? the US won, and the very popular (and nice looking) Yelena Isinbayeva got 3rd place, it was a nice event, exciting.
I know Megan Rapinoe ain't a pretty girl, but the way she plays soccer is so hot to me. She does everything for our team. She's our best midfielder, takes all the corners and crosses no matter which side of the field, is creative with her dribbling, able to beat her man (woman?), and scores like the best of them. I remember she was a sub in the 2011 World Cup and she changed the game every time she came in. She's almost like the woman's Iniesta. Midfielders are so underappreciated by the general public, but she does everything for this team.

Interesting you chose to denigrate her looks before complimenting her play. Seemed unnecessary. Anyway, it's just such a talented team all around. I'm surprised how they were able to pick each other after mediocre early action from Solo and Wambach. They had a next woman up thing going on.
