I thought we all just lay out our opinions here, right? Besides, why would Chinese fans boo the judges for giving a 20 year old Chinese young man higher score based on superb performance? There is a little thing called logic.

That may be, but if you're not sitting in the audience then you can't possibly know who's booing and who's not. And if you are it'd still be nearly impossible to distinguish the jeers considering its an INTERNATIONAL audience.

I dunno. Why was the audience clapping in rhythm for him before the score was posted? Maybe they enjoyed his routine and wanted him to be rewarded. I'm not saying the Chinese were booing or the Americans; I'm halfway around the world watching this thing on my tv, so I dunno. I just think it's hasty to make generalizations.

well, consider the booing isn't even part of the Chinese language. i don't know how they would know what it's for or pronounce it the correct way.

Fair enough; I'll respect your opinion on the matter.

But....did I ever say the boos were coming from the Chinese spectators?

i'm a bit surprised by all these discussions on gymnastics, i mean, these competitions finished at least 12 hours ago, and it looks like you guys just finished watching it ... you don't have live broadcast over there or you are too lazy to watch it live?

No, they save the broadcasts for when people are awake, and don't put the prime time material on their website because they want to make advertising dollars.

CHINESE and ROMANIAN coach. :p Nice. The Chinese coach said that his countrymen are "proud of his quality output." If you asked the fellow Chinese counterparts, they would hold PC positions and not answer at all, I betcha.

Shawn Johnson is a beautiful little girl. She is a great gymnast and seems a beautiful person, as well. That's all I will say.
