That had NOTHING to do with the match being fair and square, if you felt the judging was WRONG then that's your opinion, but that doesn't make it unfair, those judges are there to JUDGE, remember?
Thank you for posting a wikipedia article talking about something other than what we are discussing. Now, again, please tell me how the individual bronze medalist in the vault deserved her medal after landing on her knees in her one and only vault.
I guess their math skills won't let them understand the concept of rules or about the vault. I guess because some Chinese are so short that they believe their knee's are their feet? Maybe that explains the judging.
i feel that chinese girl on the floor exercise was ripped off of a medal. she didn't get **** for doing a great routine. what a group of screwed up judges.
If they don't judge fairly, then it's not fair and square. How hard is that to understand? Someone winning a medal in the vault while landing on her knees while others land on their feet is not fair judging. Period. It would be like awarding the 100M dash gold to Usain Bolt even if he fell down at 80 meters.
Dead wrong. It is VERY possible. Some NBA officials are noted for being very fair to road teams while others are homers. Not everybody is like you.
so you are an expert that knows the judges were unfair? weird, i am an expert that thought judges were very fair.
If you are chinese, you probably thought that because china won the gold? maybe, not just alittle bit do you think that? THEY HAD THE SAME EXACT SCORE. How do you think that was fair?
how hard is it to understand that a 6.5 difficulty vault is already 1 full point ahead of a 5.5 difficulty vault?
That is an awful comparison, I'm pretty sure the rules in track state that the first one to finish wins. Give me the link where it says that vault is "jumping in the air and landing on your two feet and that's all there is to it." There are things that you do while in the air that make up your score too you know?
Err ... actually, China's gold medals come from 16 sports, while U.S.A.'s gold medals come from 13 sports ... I mean, 8 out of 19 America's gold medals come from the same guy ... that's hardly diverse, is it?
good point. stick the landing isn't everything. you can do one flip and stick the landing, and another do 3 flips fall on knee. i say the 3 flips is way better than a 1 flip.
But she didn't complete the vault. You're supposed to land on your feet. If you don't do that, you didn't do what you were supposed to do. It's not like she hopped or stepped, in which case I would understand her medal. She didn't complete the objective. Period. It would be like a diver winning despite landing in the cannonball position.
