so compared to China 1 team gold with a bunch of little girls 1 bronze in all around 1 bronze just now i say USA is doing hell of a job. of course, they never tell people that. they just go, oh they cheated and paid refs.
Every team agreed upon the scoring system, before they walked into the games. Everyone knew perfectly beforehand, that they will score 0.2 point less with a perfect 5.5, comparing to someone completes 6.5 but falls on the end with a 0.8 deduction. That's why serious and real contenders like Johnson starts at 6.5 or even 6.7, instead of hoping others to fail majorly.
