Of course that is the case. However can you imagine a 6-5 WR with 4.0 or maybe 3.9 40 speed? How do you cover that? If he can catch the ball you need to triple cover him everytime!
His 40s aren't that fast -- if anything he is a little sluggish coming out of the blocks. Bolt is a top end guy like Carl Lewis.
You just leave a Strong Safety about 40 yards back and let him spy on him, then you just run up and deliver the knockout blow when the ball gets there.
I thought he had very good starts? Maybe I am off on this. Anyway it is fun to think about the possiblities.
doesn't really matter. all they have to do is jam him at the line, he won't be able to get off. he needs to learn how to play the game first.
Of course, he won't come to play NFL, but if he grew up in the US I bet he would be a Randy Moss delux.
damn. that Chinese girl messed up. good thing she did a real good first vault and the difficulty level is really high on both. the average turned out decent.
Is the gold race over? China has 35 right now and US have 19. China can expect 10-15 more gold, I do not believe the US can catch China at this stage now.
just like i thought the other night watching liukin get screwed on the vault score, if i'm doing vault basically i just do the hardest vault i can do and splatter all over the place if i have to. they just won't deduct that much. there's no way in the world falling straight on your ass on 1 of 2 vaults should beat sacramone's score, even with higher start scores. i mean she basically didn't even come close to doing 1 of 2 vaults, how can that get you anywhere near a medal? edit: and damn that german boy is 33? her vault's weren't as good as alicia's either. edit edit: it's almost like you lose less execution points if your vaults was harder and more if it's easier. that's not how it's supposed to be. your execution is your execution of that vault, no matter the difficulty. but it's almost like you can't lose less than .4 on a vault no matter what (liukin's vault in the all-around was perfect and lost .475) and they won't take away more than 1.4 or so (that chinese girl wasn't even close and got an 8.6 i think). don't you just go for a 6.5 and fall if you have to?
nah. there are **** load of track and field events. who knows. China won't get more than 10 gold. if they do, i would be shocked.
that's how the scoring system is. they should change the system. they are encouraging hard routines. it kind of sucks in a way. maybe they should just have everyone do the same difficulty in individual events.
is Yao playing tonight at 1:30 AM central time? anyone staying up to watch it? provide links please. thanks.
Lets see. Three more diving events. three more table tennis events, 7 more gymnastic events. Then there are the other odd ends events China has a chance at the gold. I expect at least 10 more gold. US is expected to pick up 12-15 track and field golds. two basketball events and a handful of other events where they are expected to competed for golds. I don't see how they will catch up.
Not all of course I expect two - three more more diving. three more table tennis and 3 more gymnastics.
