As the #2 seed, the Chinese pair lost to the #1 seed in the men's double finals, so there is no shame about it. Good match nonetheless, so congrats there, Indonesian boy. But China just won the more prized men's singles gold, not too shabby in my book.
Man the equestrian events look bad.....for the horses. It just looks too dangerous and I know it is for the riders after watching the "Real Sports" segment on it a few weeks ago but it looks like the horse is in a little more danger than the rider.
really? didn't one korean rider got killed in athens olympics? the horse fell on top of the rider. correct me if i'm wrong. that's what i remember.
You know the way they run, I'd bet you could put 4 of them together and make a pretty good bobsled team.
There is a Romania vs. Norway women's team event currently on USA. Can someone tell me what sport it is? I just got home and have no earthly idea. It looks quite silly to me, like they combined basketball (they dribble sometimes) & soccer and created a new sport.
I saw that too, and watched for a few minutes out of curiousity, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out the rules. It seems really random.

What that Usain Bolt guy did to everybody in the 100M was absolutely filthy. He won by a mile and started celebrating with 25M left! Not only that but he set a world record in his second best event. Not only was that an amazing achievement but the guy is 6'4" or 6'5" --- runners that tall aren't supposed to do the 100M in the first place. I would rank this as the second most prolific achievement of the Olympics thus far (next to Phelps, of course).
