I don't see how that was better than America's the landing sucked but scored a lot higher. Judges blow.
God damn, ok fine it looks like we are getting a home court advantage. If I was that Chinese girl I would seriously consider not standing next to the American girl in pink.
Terrible judging. Shawn stuck that landing perfectly on that ridiculous dismount and the Chinese girl still gets higher scores? Something is fishy.
The Chinese girl's had a much higher difficulty - the same as Liukin's. I think they were able to take a much bigger deduction on Liukin's step because it was closer to a meter than the Chinese girl's.
She's was born in Russia, but is representing USA. She's from somewhere in Texas. Pretty hot as well.
i don't know. the judging needs to be more open. they should show why they take points off. they do have slow motion and stuff. so i am sure they are doing OK for most part. but it would be nice if they should the reasons. at least the fans can understand what's going on.
No dude the girl in pink is on the US team. I don't know if you saw the part where they showed her sitting on the bench, she looked like she wanted to kill somebody. The old guy on NBC doesn't seem to be questioning about the judges scoring tho.
ya, probably cause he knows more. and he has been b****ing too much. they must told him to tune it down.
if they can catch him. i think the dude from Cuba? is probably going to win. Liu Xiang isn't in top form right now.
You get a start value and then get points deducted for any mistakes you make in the routine. Seems pretty easy and objectionable to score. Yet for whatever reason, gymnastics is so damn subjective. It's like they take the use of instant reply to an extreme that actually degrades the purpose of having it. Maybe the judges should only be allowed to view the routine from one single angle; that way you don't have any competing viewpoints and differences of opinions based on that. Or maybe they should get rid of the judges and create a software program that deducts the points. Can't argue with a computer.
the best thing about track... there is a finish line. there are no judges to screw it up or play favoritism. There is objectivity. there is no subjectivity. there is one winner. there are many losers. that is it.
Yeah, it's just a little too easy to job somebody a tenth here and there over the course of the competition. Especially when you can pick and choose when to do it based on the performances of the other athletes. Oh well.
Geese the Chinese girl messed from the start, Chinese version of Alicia Sacramone? No where near as hot as Alicia obviously.
shawn johnson might land better on flips on the beam than any gymnast i can remember. she just sticks those landings with no balance check.
