man, the party those chinese girls are going to have in 7th grade homeroom next week is gonna be epic.
I was bored and looked at a bunch of youtube U.S. gymnastic interviews, and she admits to knocking the guy out. You can tell that she is a wild one from her interviews.
meh, wasn't going to make much difference. if US team were 12 years old, still not as good. they don't train as much as they do in China. acrobat stuff is a tradition in China, like opera, martial arts and stuff. kids starts at 3 years old.
well if it's any comfort to alicia, which it won't be, even without those 2 .8 deduction falls we still would've been .7 short. guess china was just that much better.
fixed it for ya It was there for them to take, the repetitive mistakes killed them. The Chinese had a little help from the judges too. In an event where the difference between the highest and lowest execution score was .8 points different in one rotation you know something is wrong. The Chinese girls did what they were supposed to do and will all do again in four years... when they are really 17 and 18
when i was still in grad school in Michigan, the first year he was there, all the girls in my class were talking about him.
ya, it's forced. mostly by parents or family. in the old days, some would get sold to schools and that's what they train all their life to make a living. it's kind of like pro sports here i guess. now they make more money though. this one girl from last Olympics is doing commercials, dramas, making tons of money.
oh, if you watched the movie Farewell My Concubine, you will get the idea. that's pretty much how it was.
NO WAY some of those chinese gymnasts are 16. one of them look 8 or 9 and had their teeth still growing. i think a year from now the US will get the gold with this controversy kiling the chinese.
No dude, in 4 years a brand new crop will emerge. At least Bela doesn't believe it in the interviews. And I can only understand a quarter of what he is saying lol.
i doubt it. it's pretty common in the sports for under aged girls. and you can't really proved it. i think they've complained already. IOC just said no prove, good to go. nothing you can do about it. just get rid of the age limit. let 12 years compete.
