meh, wasn't going to make much difference. if US team were 12 years old, still not as good. they don't train as much as they do in China. acrobat stuff is a tradition in China, like opera, martial arts and stuff. kids starts at 3 years old.

In an event where the difference between the highest and lowest execution score was .8 points different in one rotation you know something is wrong. ya, it's forced. mostly by parents or family. in the old days, some would get sold to schools and that's what they train all their life to make a living. it's kind of like pro sports here i guess. now they make more money though. this one girl from last Olympics is doing commercials, dramas, making tons of money.

NO WAY some of those chinese gymnasts are 16. one of them look 8 or 9 and had their teeth still growing. i think a year from now the US will get the gold with this controversy kiling the chinese.

i doubt it. it's pretty common in the sports for under aged girls. and you can't really proved it. i think they've complained already. IOC just said no prove, good to go. nothing you can do about it. just get rid of the age limit. let 12 years compete.
