    I like the Olympics.

I'm actually looking forward to swimming. I want to see Michael Phelps. I usually normally don't care for swimming, but for an athlete like him, yeah you want to see that.

    Charlotte Craig from TaeKwonDo.

I can't find any good pictures of her on the internet, but I saw something on tv.

This is the one time where I actually watch volleyball. It's some fast action going on in there.

    In real live action...

The US mens soccer team beat Japan this morning 1-0 on a goal from the Houston Dynamo's own Stuart Holden.

The pollution in Beijing is insane -- it looks like a fog. I've seen bad pollution in Austin (ag fires from Mexico) and Houston (2001 or 02 a huge cloud of industrial smog was trapped by high pressure over the area). Are these severe events even comparable to the daily pollution in Beijing -- is there a city in the US that is comparable ? Houston and LA are the worst, but they don't even seem to be close to what i'm seeing in China. Dealing with severe pollution in Austin and Houston was hell -- burned your throat and eyes -- I can't imagine running in those conditions.

It was great seeing Stuie score for the US, but we really didn't play that well and Japan could have easily taken the 3 points if they could finish better or the ref would have called penalties.

We're going to have to step up our game considerably if we want to go anywhere.

The first video is members of our soccer team walking around China and getting tired. These guys are used to running for 90 minutes straight and the humidity and smog are getting to them walking.

Well, time to move to Brazil

Before I go, who's going to watch the Live stream of the opening ceremony? And where are you guys watching it? I've found a few places but the qualities seem awful

I've had with some really really good stream before (like i'm talking about HD, fullscreen capable ones) but I have yet to find anything comparable for the Opening Ceremony yet

If anyone's got any good links, hook it up !!!

I play soccer and if I picture playing in a year when the Mexican ag fires are bad -- it would be impossible. The ***** burns your throat, lungs, eyes when walk around outside much less run.

The humidity and temp are nothing. ; ]
