    Frankly, this Japanese Men team is the only threat to us in the competition. We are the Redemption Team in this sport.

    now I am cheering for US. :D i hope Japan drops out of the medals. at least, China don't mess up later. ;)

    Silver or bronze, a great achievement for the men's team. Pretty cool seeing such a diverse group of athletes representing them on the pommel horse.

    Meh just calling it as I see it, like I said I really want China to win gold but I wouldn't be disappointed if we came away with the silver if we lose to a better team.

    I have no idea how any of the scoring system works but from the commentators looks like China has this one pretty much sealed.

    Gotta love the crowd tho, very respectful and applauding to all the teams. Even loud cheering from time to time for non-Chinese gymnasts.

    Just looked it up China's average on the flipping on the mat venue was a 15.3

    I guess they have different scoring for different events :confused:

    so we suck so bad at pommel horse (like always) that we're going to throw away a massive lead just to even medal?


    damn, that russian guy just dominated the pommel horse. that looked ridiculously hard (but i'm guessing the score will still suck somehow).
