I'm not sure how this scoring works anymore. Two Chinese guys both took huge steps and scored over 16. We've been sticking all of our landings and getting 15's. I understand a lot of it has to do with difficulty and the stuff they were doing was most likely more difficult but it just seems like they're pulling these scores out of mid-air.
i don't know man. they are all midgets. aren't they like 5'5 or something like that? i will get them with my jabs.
it probably also have to do with what they are doing. high bar seems fancier, the pummel horse is probably more difficult. so the scoring doesn't match.
Honestly I have no idea how the hell the scoring system works. The commentators on CBS haven't made a big deal about it so I'll assume nothing is wrong. I wouldn't doubt the crowd response have a effect on the judge's decisions also.
Seriously, the first Chinese guy just got a 16+ on the bars. Our highest was 15.8. EDIT: ... and a 16.1 for the guy who just messed up his landing and made a mistake in the middle of his routine.
nah, i am from Mexico. http://gobulldogs.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/hernandez_hector00.html that's my basketball profile. here, take a look.
compare parallel bars with parallel bars. also, that guy probably got some reputation points. that's how the sport works. if Paul did the same, he would probably get similar points too.
