Authoritarian Capitalist with a certain mix of socialist element would fit the current state of China.

US is capitalism with a higher % of socialist elements mixed in (social security, medicare, medicaid, unemployment payouts, food stamp etc).

Capitalism is econonmic, communism is socio-economic. These are two different things. See you went off on another tangent. China is a communist country in my thoughts although they don't have the typical elements of a communist country of say Cuba. The U.K. is a form of democracy in my mind although they don't have typical elements of other democracies.

So is Sudi a communist nation? Is Iran a communist nation as well? You still haven't told me what makes a country a communist country other than trying to stick to some name the current government inherited from a generation that no longer exist. I have said that state planning, join ownership of resouces are the key elements of a communist country, tell me that is not correct.

I have stated already, communism can take on many different forms just as any form of government can. Sheesh! Is that too hard to comprehend? If it then leave it alone. What you don't consider communist there are others who will. Go b**** to them about it.

Current government inherited??? Isn't that most governments? It's not like the U.S. starts over every 4 years.

I cannot tell you that it is correct because that maybe your idea and my focus of the conversation has never been to shift ideas but I have stated people's ideas differ and you cannot say they don't. Our conversation is proof of that.
