I don't think I really had a problem with any of the commentary; familiar voices from past games. My favorite would probably be Mary Carillo; she comes off really likeable. Worst: Jim Lampley ....China is such a beautiful country.
my favorite nike Olympics ad <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/G4Yn9eWgNmk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/G4Yn9eWgNmk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
that track was pretty cool. With all the people around it, it looked like it was in middle of Beijing.
just like china, nbc knows how to put on a show (at least imo). they seem to always have the professionalism needed to take what they are showing seriously, while still getting the production values, announcing, and little human interest stories right. plus, they do montages well. just like i still can't imagine the nba not being done by nbc, i can't imagine the olympics ever in someone else's hands.
Ya'll better hope NBC wins the broadcasting rights for next few Olympics (after Londong) then...apparently ABC, Fox and ESPN are gonna bid.
