A major choke job by Wang Hao in the table tennis gold medal match. Except for the final game, I had the sense he was the better player, but he melted under the pressure of the moment. China took all 3 medals.
Ping pong was another sport I played a lot during my high school years. If you get fairly good at it, it is very exhausting and will put you on your knees gasping for breath (like badminton).
do the refs have some sort of point mark they have to make for both teams combined in order to win a bet???
That's it. All Olympic events have concluded. Final Tally: USA - 36G, 38S, 36B = 110 Total PRC - 51G, 21S, 28B = 100 Total Even though I'd like to claim overall victory for the US, I have to give the nod to China. Their +15 in gold medals outweighs our +10 in total medals.
but they are a communist nation and a lot of them look like 12 years old. That must be like -10 medals, imo Moreover, using the 3-2-1.5 system, we have a total of 238, clearly much more superior than the commie's 237. So either way it's huge victory for democracy
Yeah, good thing I have internet in our trailer park so I can post this while listening to some Toby Keith
Yeah, luckily Phelps made the first week watchable and must see TV and Usain Bolt came on very strong for the second week, luckily for NBC.

For someone doesn't care about the medals or standings, you sure are paying way too much attention to what others are saying. Some people don't care, some people care, just let them care. Really, you've been replying to every single post regarding the medal standings, and telling others it's pointless and how they shouldn't care, and how some sports don't really count. Would you just stop the execssive care about others' caring? Geez.
Amazing closing ceremony to end the games. I'm gonna miss watching these games for a while. Who's the girl that gave Yao a hug?
