i'm sure, but the actual race is so short. there were only 2 turns i think.

 

i don't mind the 'combat', but the wipe out took out all the fun. maybe more space for them. i don't mind seeing them punch each other.

Crazy how they went from meltdown at the end of that second set to dominating the start of this one.

 

damn dalhausser just friggin' crushed them that last set. fabio gave up mentally about midway through that last set realizing they were done. double gold in beach volleyball.

The 3rd set crumble sort of took the drama away, but the Brazilian guys just ran out of gas. It was 100 degrees out there in the hot sun. A big contrast in conditions with the women's final.

I respect beach volleyball now.

 

Sounds like Nastia might get another gold medal.

 

Can I suggest that all comments about the age issue be put in the other thread and we only discuss the events themselves here?

man, i thought we had a good day but didn't realize we added 13 medals. and china only had 2 i think. finally we get the separation on the total (the only real measure ).

 

And Sacramone might be off the hook.
