That's cause novak plays for jvg who won't play him, while kapono plays for the great pat riley, who recognizes talent and plays them.

I watched tonight's festivities on Sopcast, and I'm sure someone will be streaming it tomorrow night as well. Just look for a channel that says TNT.

It really is quite impeccable. I should be coaching this team and then I could bench rafer and play vspan and novak more, which would lead to more wins.

the heat can win the championship because they cupcake walk through the weak east playoffs and face a team from the west who has been through the wars.

miami in the west would not only have ZERO shot at making the finals, but they'd be hard-pressed to even make the playoffs.

we can slob on wade's knob all we want, but color me unimpressed with an eastern confernce team at .500.

that aside, the dunk contest completely sucked. dwight howards' dunk should have just won the whole contest.

Nate's first dunk was sick ~ Green definitely deserved the win.

Ya'll honestly don't think Green couldn't have stuck a sticker up on that backboard just as high? That dunk wasn't that great.

    Green's dunks were unimpressive.

If they're going to make Robinson have to do acrobatics like people a foot taller than him, then lower the goal a little. Ten tries or not, that was still freaking sick for a little dude.

Green won by catching a simple alley oop and doing a windmill over a little table. WEAK.

I thought the dunk contest was great this year. It was one of the best in many years.

Green paying homage to Dee Browm was nice, and it was cool of Nate to replace the cut-out.

Howard got screwed. The guy made a sticker, brought it in to the contest, jumped up and put it close to the top of the backboard while slamming the ball through, then had the showmanship to also have a tape measure and measure it after he was done. That was creative as hell, and displayed great showmanship as well. Yet for all he did to freshen up the contest which has been stale lately he wasn't rewarded. That is ashame. I think when the judges see that stuff on the replay they will be ashamed of themselves.

Speaking of judges, did anyone notice how after Jordan explained why he was giving low scores, Kobe started giving low scores? The guy can't think for himself. I feel sorry for him.

I am glad that Dirk lost the three point contest. It is great that once Gilbert knew he was going to lose, he started shooting one handers. Agent 0 beat Dirk's score one handed. Kapono did a great job to win.

LOL! Yes, I did notice that and I pointed it out to my brother.

It's really a shame that Kobe just seems incapable of being himself...it's almost like he's desperate for MJ's approval, he just wants to be loved by His Airness.

    It's creepy really...
