I think Knick fans are the only people more upset than us.

Did Rajon Rondo just get drafted before Marcus Williams?

Yup. I hope those laptops got Williams a good payday because it cost him some money tonight.

OK I'm going to be optimistic and pay attention to pick 24 in the hopes he comes over in this abomination of a trade.

And if Battier comes over would this make the selection of someone like Gansey or Novak superfluous? I can't really see them going for another swingman at 32 now.

Memphis drafted Kyle Lowry #24. I am underwhelmed.

Just got back and am pretty surprised. I think Battier is actually a very good fit, but trading Gay for him and throwing in Swift, too? If we had gotten Memphis' #24 (maybe giving up the #32?), then we could have picked up a Shannon Brown or even Maurice Ager. Sort of surprising, to be honest. I guess Luther Head will be our starter.

Please!! Don't do it CD! Even if Gay wouldn't reach his prime before T-Mac and Yao are going (slightly) downhill he is worth keeping. We could use some youth, that's an asset in itself.

    Ok, let's recap.

We could have had both Rudy Gay and Alexander Johnson and we turned that into Shane Battier and NovaK? We also gave away Swift?

Why? Novak can definitely shoot the ball, but what else does he do? We passed on a guy that could have developed into our starting PF (Johnson) for a guy that will be a backup role-player.

According to Rudy Gay on 610 he didn't workout for the Rockets.

Now this really annoys me. It’s obvious it was Roy or bust for the Rockets. They had no contingency plans in case trading for Roy was not possible and no other players in mind other than Roy. Just completely closeminded thinking by management.

From what I gather there are several decent undrafted players that it would behoove the rockerts to extend a summmer Camp invitation to.
