Go to the microsoft website. I think it is free for now. You can also go to a campus store and get i for 30 bucks if you are a student or have an ID. BTW they didn't put normal menus back. It was just loading a plugin from my office 2007 install.
From using it I would have to say no, but I mean office has been the hallmark for a while. If they could just get rid of the ribbons I would be happy.
I've been using 2010 on and off on my laptop for about a month now and really don't use any more features than I did several years ago. I need to see what else is new in it that may be useful. I definitely like the ribbon controls, especially with the possible move toward touch interfaces. That, and it's soooo much purtier.
