I'm still surprised how many Astros are not swinging at that 2-0 strike pitch. We all see he doesn't have the velocity, and he has not be placing that pitch on borders, it is in the meat of the strike zone.
Wow. He probably did overslide himself into a legit out, but he's clearly safe on the initial contact with the bag. I'd like to see a little explanation of that call. Ya know, "tie goes to the runner" seems to have been completely forgotten as a rule since replay really hit its stride. I've seen it consistently move in the direction of "tie goes to the fielder, and ask for a replay if you disagree." At the very least, the initial call when it's that close ought to be safe.
