Yet y'all want to pay him some crazy contract this off season. This is who he's been pretty much his entire career, 5 1/3 or 5 2,/3, 3 ER. Lather, rinse, repeat. Just be happy it's miraculously worked out and given us a chance to win one of the worst divisions in a very long time.
Which was my question above. How many of those 1 or 2 run loses could've been avoided by not hitting into a DP? I'm mean he's telling us they're damn near the absolute worse in MLB so whose fault is that.....
Right? We have Garcia and who knows "possibly" LMJ coming back. Add Valdez, Spencer, Brown and Blanco.....
It certainly doesn't help. But it's not a huge factor. Poor base running. Terrible defense, and I'm not just regarding errors. Atrocious late game clutch hitting. Inability to play small ball (see extra inning games). A lot of fundamentals are missing from this team, much worse than we ever witnessed with Dusty, who was an inadequate manager.
I will say it again even though you won’t listen because you are hard headed as ****… We were 1-8 in extra inning games last year.

1. Base running was terrible under Dusty too. 2. Small ball was non existent under Dusty too. 3. We sucked in extra innings because of # 2 under Dusty too
