It was and it was. That was a ****ing bomb. Best swing he's had in a long time.

That type of pop with the speed probably has the Stros not ready to give up on him. Abreu, Hildalgo, Martinez. There is a decent list of your OFs that got away

That 99 fastball, splitter and breaking ball combo is filthy.

Cespedes just went 115+ exit-velocity on a HR.

You are right. I stand corrected. Astros that leave and tear it up are like ex girlfriends you always remember them to be more and hotter than they were. Lol

Ohtani better hope he doesn’t end up on the Tommy John list with this much elbow strain at 23

If the Astros have concluded that there is no one in the organization they have confidence in to be an asset in LF right now, then yes I expect them to trade or sign someone to man LF. They can’t go months without an adequate LF and count on winning their division. Ditto for DH, but at least Gattis has some track record of being adequate.

I don’t think the Astros are quite at that point though.

As for the trade deadline, the Astros made a mistake standing pat and luckily Luhnow was able to amend for it and get Verlander and the rest is history. With a team like this one you balance patience but also have to do everything within reason to win. If we need a closer or another bat at the deadline, they need to go out and get it to give thIs elite group the best shot to win.

For whatever reason he's been channeling his inner-Biggio on the slider away again this season.

Glad we made Ohtani's ERA rise.

    Blastros coming through !!

Peacock looking for the dub to go along with his save. Versatile like the Rockets defense.
