I think the graph is a bit misleading, as well.

He gets a lot of clean pockets, but takes a lot of sacks, yes. What it doesn't tell you that is when he's getting sacked, a lot of it is on quick pressures where he literally has 2 seconds or less to get rid of the ball.

In other words, the grey area of this graph is the non clean pockets. Some of those non clean pockets are built a lot different than others. CJ is probably tops in the league in the "never was a pocket" category right now.

My main takeaway from this graph is the same as what we've heard from other sources: our line is doing well when it comes to straight line rushes, but what the NFL has figured out, as evidence by last week's awful game, is that when you disguise pressure, our offensive line may as well be a bunch of traffic cones.

Expect a string of bad games from the offense unless the line figures out how to handle this and /or Slowik adjusts his game plans.

I’m pretty sure I saw a metric that said he was one of the leaders in the league in time to throw and clean-ish pockets.

I’ll see if I can find it, doesn’t quite match what we’ve seen, but that’s what it said if I’m remembering right

Tunsil…. 2 killed drives with holds. It’s as bad as a sack.

I mean what can we do?

I would like a trade to get out from under his contract, and get a good replacement.
    But that not realistic.

Guess you gotta dance with the one you brought to the party.

I hadn't thought about it in ages, but the booth mentioning using red gloves as an OL against white jerseys was pretty on point.

Why wouldn't you always use the same color they're wearing?

I'm tired of sloppy play. It isn't fun.

LT has 10 penalties on the season vs 11 all of last year.

Last season we started players on the OL that we picked up off the street and players from our practice squad. I think they were better than this years highly paid vets and prized draft picks. It doesn’t add up. This crew may just be very mediocre or bad. Stroud has been fantastic considering the problems with the OL.

    More play action, roll outs.
Our OL is built for ZBS / blocking in space.
    Let them do that.
We've seen what CJ can do with just a little time.
I think roll outs can buy him that time.
Sitting in that pocket is not working out.

Paul Gallant says the locker room was not what it usually is after a win. There may be some discontent within, like players realizing the Oline is a detriment.

Also, Casserole is most certainly the first to blame for the Oline he has built. Three 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder. Plus the overpay for Mason and Howard.

Paul Gallant said Laremy Tunsil was in a ‘not doing interviews’ mood after the game. Dudes a freaking coward. At least Tytus Howard took questions from reporters. Cant believe dude got the players to vote him a captain.

LOL. Well, ex-players like Seth Payne continue to insist Tunsil is lazy on run plays. This surely looks like a prime example as he didn’t even attempt to find a way to contribute as his QB ran directly behind him.

But I’m sure you have a far superior knowledge vs ignorant nitpickers like Seth.
