Didn't see their game. I didn't watch them all, but the ones I witnessed, ALL the teams looked better offensively. With all the hype over the new offensive coordinator, that is more than disappointing. Everything looked the SAME or worse for the Texans. No excuses. The offense and Caley had the WHOLE offseason to figure it out, AND they came up with a BOB game plan. I am super ticked.
LA had 7 sacks on the NFLs best line and only allowed 2 offensive TDs against those Eagles. Yet somehow our staff thought they could get away with shuffling 3 guys to replace one.
I`m sorry but shuffling 3 guys to replace one was stupid, you do this right before game one on no notice and expect them to be a cohesive unit who barely played in the pre season.............IMO that doomed us from the start with a line that is already suspect at best. I have faith in Nick and Demeco but I am underwhelmed with how they addressed this in the off season, next man up is fine but the quality has to be there and even the quality of starters is suspect at best...........let's see how the come-out vs TB
As far as sheer underperformance from a predicted Super Bowl contender. Detroit wins this week's suck fest. Carolina and New Orleans are just bad as expected, no big Suprise there.
Actually, thinking about expectations compared to crappy play, the Dolphins put up quite a stinker as well.
True. Detroit completely fell flat. I do wonder if Green Bay is going to be the team. Adding Parsons does a lot for that D
The holding penalty was BS and put us in a hold right from the start. For a totally re-worked line and a rookie starting tackle they played better than expected. Rams are a good defense. We have a terrible RB crew. We’d be better off going straight run and shoot. Our defense will keep us in games until the offense catches up. Of course, injuries have already had a significant impact and more injuries to offensive line will kill us. Chubb was grasping at straws, but maybe he was the best available. I still expect this team to be playing well by the playoffs which we will make.
Caserio could've traded a late rd pick for Jordan Mason like the Vikings did. He looked better than any RB on the Texans roster.
This is why I think these kinds of charts are total BS. The Rams were the better offense/team by a decent margin by my eye test.
