Objectively, Levis is more physically gifted. Any unbiased person can see that. That doesn’t equate to better QB. Carr had a bigger arm and was a far better athlete than Stroud. Doesn’t mean better QB
I’ve mentioned this before, but David Carr had an interview with AM610 after he played for the Giants and admitted he didn’t know the dedication required to be a starting QB in the NFL until he observed Eli Manning up close.
Waste of God given ability. Carr had every tool you needed to be an elite modern QB, except for the will and work ethic to be one. I don’t think CJ is the type to not put in work, physical tools are solid but his ceiling is based off the work and QB skills he attains and perfects.
A good sign is he hung around Houston this offseason to help learn a new offense instead of traveling the world, like he did last offseason.
