I could see the OL starting out next year looking something like this. Robinson/Howard/Patterson/Tomlinsom/ one of Brown/Fisher/Ersery.
Offensive line going to be tested early. Week 1 Rams - Braden Fiske, Jared Verse, Kobie Turner, Byron Young Week 2 Bucs - Vita Vera, BIG Desmond Watson, Calijah Kancey Week 3 Jaguars - Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Arik Armstead Week 4 Titans - T'Vondre Sweat, Jeffrey Simmons Week 5 Ravens 31-2 Week 6 Seahawks - Leonard Williams Week 7 Niners - Joey Bosa, Alfred Collins, Mykel Williams
I think Rams will possibly be the best Dline we face. Unless I'm looking over someone. Crosby and Wilkins will be dangerous in Week 16
They are a huge unknown. The scheme will be important, but a completely new and untested line is a bit scary. Bottom line, CJ will either have "more time" or be running for his life.
"I'm just happy to see the comradery on that side" may be a telling comment about problems last year.
I know we’re a bit jaded on this ‘body change’ stuff because of useless Kenyon Green, but Kenyon Green issues were between the ears. His body transformation was actually his only positive. So I’m liking that our OLinemen have taken it upon themselves to keep fit and improve physically.
Being an NFL player is a YEAR AROUND JOB. It's not part time anymore where you actually get in shape in training camp. Body transformation checks off one box indicating they get it and perhaps a second box showing the discipline to get it done. But they still have to have the talent and the mental skills to use that talent as well. I'm more hopeful than confident until I see it on the field against good to great opposition (and the discipline against lesser opposition.)
