If Loveland, Golden, and Banks are available at 25, who should we pick? My pick is Golden although I hate missing out on Banks. I think it's imperative to give CJ that third weapon, although an argument could be made for Loveland as the third weapon.

My favorite dual threat Receiver is listed as a multi purpose WR, If we did get him, I would consider using him as a blocker / receiver and shifting Schultz and Jordan to the WR room as Y receivers and use Bech and Stover as more traditional dual threat TEs.

I would probably pick Banks, but the thought of giving CJ a weapons like Loveland might change my way of thinking. Golden is really good, but if it was me I would rather draft a guy like Bech or Royals in rd 3 and pick Loveland at 1-25. I wonder if Caserio goes this direction what OT or OG might be available at 2-58.

If Banks and Loveland are both there at 1-25 then I'm picking Banks and trading 2-58, 3-79 and a 2026 3rd for Loveland. I really think Loveland is a differencce maker. Only issue with doing this is that like CJ/WA you're at a disadvantage contract wise when you have two 1st rd picks on the same contract years.

You make a persuasive argument. In some mocks Loveland is available to us but not in others.

Do you think the questions about Loveland's blocking are overstated?

I feel the same way about possibly missing out on Banks, but if that situation comes up, I keep going back and forth between Golden and Loveland..

I'm GOLDEN all the way because he an outside receiver. We have the slot receiver and Collins.

Yes he did fine as a blocker in 2023. You can't run for as many yards as Coruum did and have a TE that can't block. He hurt his shoulder and had some of the worst QB play that you will ever see. Otherwise there's no way Loveland would be available at 1-25.

Got a bad feeling the Broncos might ruin that one.

Is it possible that we won't pick any OL in this draft and that, going forward, Nick will acquire linemen via trade & FA?

Texans are replicating what Philly did with Becton, turning big OTs into OGs

I hope we draft a center. Lord knows we need some competition at that spot.

Purely theoretically. you want the players in the draft which are most expensive in free agency to maximize your total team value.

Right now, it's QBs, OTs, Edge, WR etc.

OG and TE are cheap, I say we draft 2 of each ;)

    I'll allow it.

I have no educated opinion on Patterson vs Scruggs at C

Maybe we could do better, but we could definitely do a whole lot worse.
