The only thing I care about right now is that we play 5 on 5 instead of 1 or 2 on 5. We don't have to implement the Princton offense but I'd just like to see some guys coming off screens, setting AND USING picks, the give and go, some penetrate and dish...you know, NORMAL basketball 101 stuff. A fast break would be nice too. I didn't see ANY of that under Rudy.

Defensively, I'd just like to see good team defense, guys communitcating with eachother, playing the passing lanes, Yao erasing guards mistakes, double teaming the hot hand...you know, NORMAL basketball 101 stuff. Good defense can lead to fast break buckets. I didn't see ANY of that under Rudy.

I'd prefer MD because of his wide open offense (comparitively speaking) but he or JVG would be a step up from Rudy as far as straight X's and O's.

In the heat of the battle, when it's all on the line...it all comes down to....

    Defense is for the team.
    Offense is for the fans.

If you ignore defense, the team will eventually lose (Mavs).

If you ignore offense, the fans will eventually lose (Hawks).

Yep. I didn't mind his offesnive sets. It's just that NY had a problem. They never figured out who was the leader of that team. Spree or Houston?

It's important to know who your "go to guy" is.

Because the Knicks would play a whole game really well, but lose it in the last few seconds because no one wanted the ball, or just threw up a "prayer" that missed.

I just wonder what Gundy would do with more talent.

Hey, I wounder what Dunleavey would do with a team with a leader (not like Portland).

Well then hire both of them. VG will design the defense and Dunleavy can run the offense. :)

:D I wish.........the Rockets aren't even willing to pay for one of them. Too cheap! :( That would be nice though. Not gonna happen.

    DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

But still.....I don't want to watch boring as school games.

    Offense......exciting....entertaining....fast.....up tempo....and scoring points!
