Basketball - My offense has gone putrid in the last year, mainly with finish around the rim. I mainly operate in the post in a Luis Scola fashion. I am guilty for occasionally putting up too many fakes. But mark my words I will fake you out Jumper is solid and I haz tha handles My defense is something I am proud of. Have surprised many with my defensive footwork often preemptively misjudged due to my excessive weight. Cricket - Not really a X's and O's sort of sport but more about temperament. Football - Creative Defensive midfielder. Get a few goal assists here and there I'm currently coaching a lower grade basketball team in Australia and want to practice what I preach with defense. Just a general question. I always played better in general when I was angry in a game. I always looked for a call or something to go against me (Which wasn't very hard with our officiating) A lot of people say they often lose their minds and what not and they can't concentrate properly causing careless turnovers and what not. How do you guys play when you're angry? Better or worse?
Basketball - I have court vision and a nice floater but a inconsistent jumpshot. And I can defend people my height pretty well. Football - Good hands and a "signature side-step" move but thats about it. And I can't tackle...
Basketball: Offensive, I'm a great scorer from the paint (either post up or face up). I have good court awarenes, and can pass good for a big man. My best trait is my rebounding (but even then i'm a better ofensive rebounder than defensive rebounder). I.m an ok shot blocker. But my biggest weakness is defending on the perimeter. So in general Offense Soccer. I'm a good defender, good header, but my ballhandling skills are lacking big time. So More defensive orientated. Tennis: I play serve volley, so verry offensive. So overall it depends on the sport.
In most cases, defense... Basketball -- Excellent shot-blocker/shot-contestor, and good rebounder. Decent mid-range jumper with some 3-point range. Poor free throw shooter. Can't dribble worth a damn, but excellent passer. Volleyball -- Excellent spike blocker. I love it up front in the middle. I also always had good placement with my spikes, but not much power at all. I'm terrible at bumping and setting the ball, though, so I hate being in the back court. There was another guy on the team who had the completely opposite skill-set (excellent bumper and digger, but couldn't jump worth a damn), and coach would often rotate us in and out depending on our position in the court rotation. Badminton -- Picking off smashes is my absolute favorite part of the game. Definitely better on defense here. My smashes usually have good placement but lack raw speed.
