it's possible. just didn't know if he was serious that he was shocked that they didn't name him rockets ultimate fan of the year. and he was asking if it was because he was too good. so, if he was serious in his query, which it seems he is, my 2 cents is because that may not be as an impressive collection as he feels it is. still some pretty cool jerseys though.

didn't mean to be a dick, rocketfan. didn't seem like you took it that way, but i guess some others did.

Piece of the old floor, signed by The Dream.

Plenty of 8x10 photos signed... Name a past Rockets player (starting from the mid 80s) and I probably got it.

lol, I thought the same if he thought he'd be in the top 3, I probably have those things minus the autograph basketball in my trunk

not to put down your collection, its nice, but if you expected to be top 3 with just that, just look at what everybody else has so far in this thread.

three team balls that just lay in my closet.

some shirts, hats, night light, bobble head, coasters, jerseys, autographs.

i wished i treat my rockets crap better. I have some autographs of Horry and Murphy in my car collecting dust. I have another one of Horry somewhere in my room. I have a jordan Hill autograph hat that sat on the floor of my car in the back seat. I don't know how many times people have stepped on it. I have other boring crap from STH. One that I really like that no one but two people have is this big ass photo from the 80s of Akeem doing the shake vs the Lakers. I should post it one of these days.

I bought a Landry jersey and Iguodala jersey online the same day a few years ago because I thought we were really about to get Iggy. We didn't get him and we traded Landry soon after.

    I haven't bought a jersey since.

I'm not much of a collector but I am proud of the things I kept over the years that represent the best of times of following this franchise since...well I remember my Dad talking about Drexler & Olajuwon in college and I also remember vaguely the Moses Malone era in Houston.

I still have my bright yellow "Believe it" shirt from the Rocket's championship run - the one the Chronicle put out. I also got my ticket stub from seeing I think it was game 1 or 2 of the Houston/SA series in San Antonio - the David Robinson butt kicking series. That might have been one of the earliest instances of the legend of "Big Shot Rob" - Horry hit a huge 3 late in the game to seal it for Houston. That was also my first NBA game in person(I was in high school at the time). I don't have much else sentimental except for a Rockets sticker that has been on my main gigging guitar for probably 8 years now.

Lame I know, but it means something to me.

    Wow, me too.

Old box also had the newpapers from both years, the SI Special Edition from the first C'ship (the one they only made after Houston fans cancelled SI in droves after finding out the NY edition was ready at the presses before their John Starks fueled demise :mad::mad:), and for purely chronological reasons: the OJ Simpson SI special edition magazine. lol

FU White Bronco, pull it over Al Cowlings!!!! GO BACK TO THE GAME!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!

got both t-shirts from both championships, got both SI championship addition magazines (if you can call the first one championship addition), newspapers from both including both Choke City headline and Champ City headline. Got some '93 memorabilia, got NBA finals magazine from 86 with Ralph, Hakeem, Reid, Peterson, Ehlo, and Lloyd autographs, it was really cool because I went to a bunch of games that year because my mom's best friend was dating Jim Peterson at the time. Went to a game in '81 and sat court side and got an autograph from Moses Malone.
On a side note I got to know Robert Reid real good as a kid. He didn't live very far from me and did some clinics at a gym close by. He's who really got me into the Rockets, my whole family was football only. I was the first to like basketball.
