Sorry. If I put that choice, all the haters and drama queens would choose it. I wanted to force people to choose sides.
Well, I certainly never thought this series was in the bag. This isn't exactly the first series ever where we won the first two games. I'm not a "hater"... I believe this team has a shot at a championship if they can get things together (mostly if they start actually attacking the basket for a change). And I'm certainly not overreacting to a loss. In the game 2 post-game analysis thread, I mentioned that we had gotten a ton of FTs in game 2... that's what saved us. Then I started a thread bemoaning our lack of attacking the basket, saying that T-Mac's jumpers were going to stop falling at some point. They just did.
Im a glutton for punishment! Hopefully next game we will be the first team to have ONLY TWO players score the entire game!!! 'worst playoff game ever' it wasnt just a loss. it was the 'worst playoff game ever in the history of the NBA'. if you want to be mad at our team and/or our coach, im not mad at you. that kind of performance is inexcusable. i bet JVG is chewing them a new im mad because they are better than that.
This series will end in 5 like we plan and then we could go on to the second round. If you have been a Rockets' fan for long time you know Rockets never takes an easy route to victory. Hopefully, this time they can keep it short and finish the Jazz in 5 or 6.
dude, im kinda glad, it was getting kinda crowded with all the bandwagoners, it gives room to breathe til the next win.
where's this choice? choice 4: I'm mad that Charles and Kenny won't say anything good about a Rocket's loss.
Overreact? - for many, yes. Panic? - for many, yes. Uniformed? - definitely in many cases. How many of us have either coached or played at this level? Sloan is a great coach, so is JVG. Sloan's adjustments were just more effective than JVG's. The Jazz players played with a little more intensity, because going down 3-0 at home would have been the ultimate embarassment. It was the Rocks that were embarassed, and I hope that feeling's just festering ready to spill over Saturday night. Utah's good but we're better. Unfortunately, last night's game counters that belief, but guys, it was only one game! Anybody catch the drubbing that the mighty Suns took last night in LA? Probably their media and fans are skewering them for scoring 30 points below their average and losing to a one-dimensional team. Is D'Antoni now just a mediocre coach? Are the Mavs and Avery Johnson underperformers because they've lost one game to the overachieving Warriors? Time to step back and take a deep breath. Not the time to throw JVG and the guys under the bus. With just minor improvementsw, we could be 3-1 late Saturday night. Or we could be 2-2 heading back to where we have the Home Court Advantage. Time and the percentages are on our side.
After a loss this board is full of a bunch of whiney little fraidy cats who throw a hissy fit everytime the wind changes directions. I can't believe it. If the knee jerk "fans" on this board were in charge we would have had 18 head coaches this year, 25 different starting line-ups, and 34 trades each of which making our team progressively worse. Of course during the off-season it would be more of the same for these folks.
I dont know why but Pheonix losing really made me feel better. We just have to somehow pull out Game 4 and the series could be done in 5.
I'm good, I didn't like our body language and that's to be expected in the 1st game in Utah, however, I'm confident we will give them fits in game 4 and win going away by 15
