Winning is easy. Long game is championship. Let the youngsters grow the next 2 years, draft well in 2023 and then bring the best FAs you can get in 2024. Make adjustments after 2024 as necessary. If you get Ben now, that's all gone. Yeah you might win more games the next 4 years. But lotto bubble winning team should not be the long game.
Him being a Houston kid and having some potential.. We need to fill out the roster anyway. If he comes cheap why not take a shot and see what he can do?
Acquiring unique All Star talent is not a given. There are multiple avenues to do this, relying on just the draft is limiting your options. And Houston cannot afford to limit their options, no successful organization acts or thinks this way. A team like the Rockets should never believe that winning is easy. Winning is hard, championships are hardest.
He has a rap career to think about it... that's why he got in trouble in the bubble... he was trying to slip her his demo
Knicks for Knox makes a lot sense after they strike out in free agency and are left with either paying schroeder or trading for wall. Clippers as well if they don’t get a big splash, but it looks like lowry likes Miami and bulls are getting lonzo
I totally agree. Kinda makes me sad when we develop them and leave though. The real question is who is the next career resurrection project for our team.
