I find it pretty weird that this guy is so emotionally distraught because he smoked weed. Damn, this society in many ways is messed up. The story's being treated like he got some disease and his teamates are supporting him... He just toked up! What's the big deal? (I'm not talking about the legal sense, but from the perspective that Odom is so sad about it) Either Odom is lying by the way he acts (very possible because he acted pretty much the same way the first time and continued to toke), or the NBA/press/certain family and friends have pounded into his head that he's done something atrocious. It's like the teenage boy who thinks he's going to hell because he masturbates (Drew Carey reference). So I don't know what to make of Odom this time. I guess only time will tell.

uh he wasnt crying about the fact he did it, in my opinion at least But odom is a superstar player like stevie who hasnt reached his peak yet(he will/kg esque kinda guy) and he is the leader of the young clips, albeit brand helps in that department, and he feels like hes letting his team down thats why hes crying, because he swore the 1st time it would be a one time thing and now its twice hes hurt his team and he doesnt want to give miles, maggette, etc the wrong idea.
And that guy would be? Jason Collier may I presume? Well, it would have to fit in his schedule of constant rehab so I guess it's not him.
