Very likely. Parsons' name has popped up alot. He is a quality wing player.

Pretty likely. I don't think Parsons is a good fit with Dwight because he's a bad shooter.

I think Martin has to be in there to make the money match.

You gotta believe Orlando is keying on Parsons/Lamb in this deal, especially if J. Rich and/or Hedo are shipped here. However, I think Houston will do whatever it takes to keep him.

HOU sends White, Jones, Morris, Martin, Toronto Pick
HOU receives Howard, Hedo, and Davis/Richardson

I hate the idea of losing Parsons.

How many YEARS did the Rockets go without a really good SF?

Seemed like every year they were in the market for one.

Now they've got one and they may be trading him.

    Unbelievable...

He'll have to be included. The dozens that follow SEC basketball in Orlando would riot if he isn't.

I think we will all be sad if he goes but that's just part of the buisness, he's been one of the best all around players last year, but he is replacable 'cuz he ain't no franchise player.

I guess the one thing we don't want to happen is that he leaves with Lamb who is really nice pickup so far (although you can't really say that based on summer league)

That's what I'm saying. I really don't feel like reading page 109 in a 124 page thread, so I actually like when a new thread is started with a slightly different thought on a similar subject. Keep up the good work OP :p

I would hope Parsons and Lamb could be kept. More than likely Orlando wants one of them to make the trade, and although Parsons is the better all around player (I also believe he played his college ball in Florida), I think we would be better off keeping Lamb since Martin will definately be leaving and Lambs outside game fits better with Howard.

If tjones can step in and play a similar role, then I think moving Parsons for dwight makes sense.

Considering we don't have but two, maybe three starter quality players now I'd say he's gone when we trade.

Rockets best young asset is Parsons, if the Nets were willing to deal their best young asset in Marshon, then I think Magic will want a similar type player. Sad to see him go because he is my favorite player, but if this has to be done to get Dwight, do it. I think Parsons would not mind the trade because he is playing at home and in proximity to his Gators. We need to keep at least Lamb, or Parsons, if both go, yikes... I still love the Rockets.

It's not just Parsons I don't want to give up. None of our draft choices from this year or future picks I would give up. No Patterson no DMo either. Let them play and let's see them grow as a team and try to get something next year via Free Agency.
If we get Howard via trade we would be still a playoff contender and not a championship contender. With the talent we have now and hopefully playoffs next year we might get Howard as a Free Agent. Hakeem won his first ring with guys like Kenny,Mario,Sam,Otis,Robert,Vernon etc. Lets see if our players can be those guys and try to add Howard next year. Don't get me wrong nobody can replace Hakeem but no team in the league has someone with the class or skills of Dream either.
