Recall under JVG TMac developed his ability to get assists.
IF he can keep the ball moving and further develop a full game focus on his defense then this team will flourish.

What I love about this team as currently constructed is that I can see a player being a great fit on this team who wouldn't really perform well on other teams. Another team first, hustle oriented, leave it all on the court type player could become an integral part of our team where they wouldn't necessarily amount to much on another team. So thats one ding against TMac. Is TMac is the type of player that, when healthy, has a value independent of location. And taking on a lesser role somewhat devalues him. I think thats why DD is so down on TMac. My guess is DD sees the value of our new team concept and also sees there is a good chance TMac doesn't fit.

Myself, I'm hoping TMac will find a way to fit in. And I think its all about TMac using his assist abilities, sustaining defensive intensity, running the floor and ball movement. Thats a long list maybe.

DD like I said you keep looking at last year (when you keep saying 11)

He doesn't run? Wasen't that the JVG system that he was playing in that wasen't supposed to run? Am I missing the something here? If your talking about the past years with Adleman then we had Yao.

You keep judging the man before he has taken one step on the court.

You say he cant to this and that but does that mean he cant change and try to FIT into the system?

Yes you may have a point about him coming back and trying to prove everyone wrong by taking 20 shots a night but I believe he will try to do whats best for the team.

So before you make these accusations wait for him to come back.

t-mac would rather walk the ball up than run like a trevor ariza. heck our fowards are better at running the lane than t-mac.

morey's gonna pull a great trade before the deadline which primes us for the playoffs.

He's more like Rush Limbaugh: "I hope he fails." Come to think of it, DD belongs on AM talk radio. He's all hate with selective reasoning and no shame.

This is a good problem to have since splitting time will allow players to play 30 minutes or less during the regular season. Anything we can do to limit injuries and wear & tear will help for the playoffs. Hopefully Adelman will realize this and allow Budinger to play at least 20 minutes.

I don't hate, I just think past history is indicative of future results.

Whatever, you guys feel free to hope, that is fine.....

We shall see what happens when it happens.

For the record, I hope I am wrong and he comes in and is one of the fellas and utilizes his unique skills.

    But, don't bet on it.

    Larsv8,

Come on, you are better than that, I know you aren't blindly ignoring Tmac's established style of play and how it does not fit with this current team first type of style.

There is no selective history going on here, Tracy is a volume shooter, whose efficiency has been dropping.

I just can not fathom how people think a 30 year old player coming off of microfrature is going to get out and run...

    I mean...really?

We cant say anything about Tmac until he comes back, all we are doin is bringin up old ish that doesnt mean anything nemore. Lets just wait until Nov 23rd or wenever he comes back and then start the Tmac opinions.

Plus this is a totally different team and a team that Tmac is gonna have to adjust to not a team that will have to adjust to Tmac. I think when he comes back were gna end up making Tracy Mcgrady appreciation threads.

Back to the topic, everybody's minutes will be divided up, but I say decrease Ariza's minutes some. As I said before, I still think a decent Tracy is much better on this team than Ariza thus far. I'm telling you, Ariza is trying to play with a fairly similar style as Tracy, except Tracy has the talent and really knows what he's doing. Not a knock on Ariza because he hasn't developed anywhere near that caliber yet, but TMac will be an upgrade if he is at least healthy as stated. This team will be much better off with Ariza playing off the ball.

I beg to differ! Most fans forget during the 22 game win streak, the Rockets went from a post up team to a primerely running team, headed by T-Mac. With players like Rafer, Luther, Novak, etc. We you think of it, we really didn't have anybody outside of T-Mac. Brooks and Landry were rookies then.

So, if you look at the talent they had then compared to now, I can't wait until he comes back to see what transpires.

I have been looking for a pro Bosh trade proposer! I hear all these fans, even radio talk show host proposing this trade and my question is, do you think Daryl morey would be stupid enough to have (2) max players in the front court?

Using the famous words of Mike Singeltary; can use them, can't win with them, can't do it! Your roster needs balance. In order to win, you must have a balanced roster; i.e , Boston, the Lakers, Orlando, and Cleveland. A star in the front court and a star in the back court.

In 2 months, you will be saying the Rockets are a contender with T-mac in the line up. That they have so many interchangable parts. In 3 months you will be saying, I hope the Rockets keep the roster as is, but try to obtain another big for the play-offs and in 6 months you will be begging the Rockets to resign Mcgrady!

With him, Battier, Ariza, and Chase, that will give you (4) 6'8" players. T-Mac and Chase can handle the ball. T-Mac and Battier can rebound, this will allow both Chase and Ariza to do what they do best, which is get out on the break.

Not to mention, T-Mac can play the (4) against certain power forwards.

    T-mac is a volume shooter
T-mac will never recover from surgery
T-mac is getting old and time is running out
    T-mac can't run
    T-mac dominated the ball
    T-mac can't run Adelman's offense
T-mac lacks heart and is not hard working
T-mac is not a good team mate
T-mac only wants touches to earn a contract
    T-mac will ruin the offense
    T-mac doesn't play Defense

This is all of the opinions you spew off here and it's pretty clear that when you go to this length to criticize someone, you just hate the guy.
