hes quick. I think I heard that the journalist that threw the shoe joked that it was only a size 10. If shaq had thrown his shoe, would the enormous shoe size constitute a felony?

I mean that water could have been poisened/ acidic/etc

    it is what it is

    I don't think either situation was right . .
I find it kind of sad
    . . . This kind of thing .. this DISRESPECT . . .is like a new low
    and
the sad part is. .. far far too many folx thinks Bush deserves
[just like alot of folx thought Cruise deserved]
He did it to himself . . .

So we're sure there wasn't a second shoe thrower?

Even worse, it could have been a Malcolm X-type situation, where it's just meant as a diversion for something else.

Yes. Thats his issue. He lost so much with the downfall of Saddam. All Iraqi's hate the US for the freedoms we have given them, such as getting a little jail time for throwing his shoe, where as its likely he would get death under Saddam.

The SS was pretty far from Bush, maybe 3 to 4 seconds. It took him all but 2 1/2 seconds to throw both shoes. Also, the SS is trained to react to the situation, not shoot first and ask questions later like our local law enforcement.

this one goes to [size] 11.

some of the other journalists stood up after, and apologized to W, who took the entire incident with humor, and aplomb.

i think we'll be missing both attributes over the next 4 years.

If that were Obama, I think his short temper would have gotten the best of him. Well played by W

It took place within 2 seconds. By the time the second shoe left his hands, someone was in front of him already. I dont see how anyone could have responded faster... its real life, not a movie.

Abusive spouses everywhere, rejoice! Throwing objects at your spouse is not attempted battery! It is merely an expression of your free speech!

Perfect. No assassination or harm intent. Just the level of disrespect and insult well merited.

Well, I think Bush is the worst President of all time, but he didn't deserve this. I can get with a pie in the face.
