Which means it's Romney. The GOP race is virtually over. From the part that I saw (the last hour), Romney dominated everyone else. Upon reflection, I won't bury Perry just yet, but he's got one foot in the coffin.

Cain has no money, but he might get a VP nod if he plays nice.

Yeah, he was kissing Romney's ass all night long. It's looking like Romney-Cain 2012. Many like Cain's no-nonsense, business-oriented approach, and he'll attract interest from the black community, which is critical b/c Obama's approval rating among blacks has plummeted from around 83% just 5 months ago to 58% today. If Romney's smart, he'll capitalize on this opportunity to garner support in the black community by joining forces w/ Cain.

Cain as VP will be the delightfully most stupid thing the GOP will ever do to shoot itself in the foot.

All of the swing states that were in play in 2008 due to the expansion of Latino voters---oh you better bet they are even more in play. Obama the guy who may have slow-footed on immigration reform vs. guy who wants to electrocute Mexicans?

    good luck with that.

Not only that, 9-9-9 will quickly fall apart under close scrutiny---I'll laugh when the CBO projections come through.

Romney-Cain, and Romney can be the charmer while Cain gets to be the attack dog.

Or Romney-Rubio for the Florida votes.

Or Romney-Bachmann to keep the evangelicals happy.

“Libya is in Africa” is trending on Twitter.

Michelle Bachmann looked dumber than ever tonight. I thought it was bad enough when she pronounced the word “heinous” as “hee-nee-us.” Then she said Iraq should pay us for invading them. Wow.

Oh come on, no mention of "Anderson? Anderson?" like she was in a high school class trying to make a point? I had a friend literally on the floor when that happened, and we thought that was her best highlight.

I found that more annoying than dumb.

She’s not kidding that she’s as different as can be from Obama. He should take that as a huge compliment.

Perry looked visibly angry about a trivial fact that he's known for probably two days, really shows poor advising and a lack of real priority. The irony is he's a Southern Rocky: no reason he couldn't be governor for the next ten years if he wanted to. Granted, he's probably got enough high net-worth contacts from this excursion that there's a corporate PAC job or oil company board seat waiting for him whenever.

Nevada is right next door to Utah. My guess is many Republicans/conservatives in the state are Mormons. Perry's association with the "LDS Church is a cult" crowd can't make him terrible popular out there.

Hadn't even crossed my mind, you nailed it. I even almost felt bad for Perry out there, you can tell by his face he was in over his head. He looked like he simply wanted to have a yelling match, maybe a fight even.

Romney was being very condescending to Perry.... and I like it.

Romney won the Nevada primary in 2008 in part because of the strength of the Mormon vote out there. There's a very large mormon population in Nevada so it's definitely not a negative to be Mormon in Nevada.

Ron Paul was great. I was surprised to see other candidates agreeing with him. He'll be in there until the end. The rest of the candidates are about as exciting as John McCain's Corpse was in 2008. Romney is a slick talker who'll never come through on a promise. He's fickle. Similar sentiments apply to the rest of those morons.

Perry has really exposed himself during this campaign.

Cain has told black people that they can't think for themselves and have been brainwashed into supporting Democrats. Then he said they were racists (later changed to bigots) if they supported Obama over him. He also quickly withdrew his taking offense to the name of Rick Perry's ranch.

Not things you'd think would attract black voters.
