Morey loves his fire sales and Trez has the exact skill set needed.

I was referencing his refusal to play guys like Hartenstein as the head coach. MDA was an assistant in Philly. That’s basically what assistant coaches do.

So why is it MDA job to develop Harty in HOU?

Harty stinking it up the last 2 times he was given chance.

Harden never said Covington was the difference that's just a lie.

Pretty sure player development is something a coach should be vested in. As the head coach, he’s ultimately responsible for the development that happens or fails to happen. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. But hey, MDA is what he is. He ain’t gonna change....and I won’t stop poking at it o_O

Rockets offensively look unstoppable without a big man lanes open for days. Without Harden/Capela/Westbrook, team still looked great offensively. Offensively team is fire, somehow if you can get a 3/4 who can board...

Adam Himmelsbach in the Boston Globe:

ESPN reported on Monday that the Rockets and Celtics had engaged in talks about Houston center Clint Capela, who is averaging 13.9 points and 13.8 rebounds and could fortify Boston’s frontcourt. League sources confirmed that there were some cursory discussions, but that they were initiated by the Rockets, who are actively shopping Capela to numerous teams around the NBA.

As of Tuesday night, sources said, there were no substantive negotiations between Boston and Houston. The Rockets’ initial asking price, according to one source, was too high to entertain.

Regardless, the Celtics have been pleased with the production from the center position and do not appear to be urgently looking to upgrade it. League sources said the Pistons reached out to the Celtics last month to gauge their potential interest in Andre Drummond, too. But Daniel Theis and Enes Kanter have combined to average 17.6 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 blocks in 41.1 minutes per game, and no assets need to be relinquished to keep them.

Morey is washed, guys. He keeps desperately trying for these kinds of big multi-team trades, but how many in the last few years has he failed? He keeps desperately leaking this crap when it has never worked out for him. His only notable trades have been surprises.

If Shams says “serious” that means it’s happening.

this should be obvious, but... we should not be willing to help GSW facilitate anything at all.
