I agree, I would rather have Ochocinco than TO, but that doesnt mean Im interested in signing him, well maybe a workout session.

They say the player is the last person to know they are done, but there are always some fans that make it a close race.

isn't Kubiak big on recievers who block?

Ochocinco doesn't like to take hits and doesn't understand schemes, would seem like a terrible fit.

I'd like to see him get a workout. Can't hurt and it might help. Just my 2 cents but i think the all the talk about OC not learning the NE playbook was overblown.

Why do you think it was overblown? Apparently Houshmanzada had to frequently tell him where to line up in Cincy.

Due to the fact that he was capable of learning the Bengals playbook during his tenure there. (Your Houze comment was the first i've heard of this) I could be wrong but it felt like an excuse for keeping Chad off the field.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised by his behavior throughout the season. He wasn’t a distraction at all. If he can come in and behave (like he did last season) maybe he’s been humbled by his NE experience and wants to prove he’s not the idiot that’s been portrayed in the media. I’d give him a call and see where his mind is at.

No TO, no Ocho, no Moss. All 3 of those guys are DONE. Not even worth bringing in for a workout.

I wish all of 3 of them would just go away so these threads would quit popping up.

Donny M. must be on an extended vacation in some remote, internet-free location...

You know you want him, DM!

Last year, sure. This year, not so much.

If he's lost his athleticism, that's a deal breaker.

If he's just too stupid to play for the Patriots, that's something I can overlook.

Although we did just cut our own village idiot, so, not sure we should be jumping at the chance to sign up another dim-bulb.

However, I wouldn't be shocked if we invited him for a workout. He's not a criminal and has kept a low profile for 2+ years now. He'd have to learn to throw a block to have any chance with Kubiak, though. Add in the likely price tag, and I just don't see it happening.

Edit: looks like the Dolphins are the leading candidates.

Chad Johnson isn't even in the realm of remote possibilities. And for good reason.

Chad came out and said it himself during the season that he didn't know the plays. I think that is an odd and embarrassing excuse to make up to address the fact that he wasn't playing.
