They aren't protesting the government. So why would any of this happen? In fact Obama already held a conference today to deflect blame from the government.

But this is where it is heading, Wall street is not the problem, the government is...they are the ones that relaxed the rules all Wall street did is what every business person does, follow their greed within the rules.

And since there were no rules........

Then the government bailed them out...why? To protect yours and my 401k which is invested in Wall Street....

Speak with your money, pull it out.....put it in something else.....and then the government should legislate the **** out of Wall street and banks.

Its Ironic that most the Union people that are part of the protests aren't realing they got bailouts too.

Government bailouts of the auto sector and the subsequent subsidy of UAW interest in the GM bankruptcy were complete government subsidies to the Unions.

So shouldn't we be protesting the Auto makers and the Union's as they've been bailed out again and again as well?

Maybe it is just me, but the government might be just a puppet of the Wall Street.

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding of auto bailouts. The unions had to make huge concessions in the restructuring as well as the owners. It wasn't as if one side got bailed out.

LOL - no I just wish they had a point.....that is something I could get behind.

Tossing tomatoes at successful people because they are not as successful is pointless.

Having a plan...that is worth something.

    DaDakota "solutions" are awesome.

"Texas has a problem with uneducated hispanic citizens"
-DD Solution: Just annex Mexico, problem solved.

"The United States has a problem with debt and Banks are charging fees for debit cards"
-DD Solution: If I were the USA, I would immediatly say I am not paying a penny of interest until the debt is paid off...but first I would get all debt ridden countries to agree to do the same.

"There are fundamental problems with Wall Street that are causing problems"
-DD Solution: Speak with your money, pull it out.....put it in something else.....and then the government should legislate the **** out of Wall street and banks.

"Mexico has a problem with violence and drugs"
-DD Solution: Can't we just annex Mexico and clean up their mess?
    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6310692&postcount=107

"Mexico's leader investigator is missing, probably dead"
-DD Solution: It is time to invade Mexico and annex them.

Same. I feel like the majority just kind of show up because other people they know are doing it.

Then again, I doubt most large protests are filled with protestors who kow what they're protesting about, let alone understand the issue at hand.

That's really all I was trying to say.

Yeah, Houston's never really been a good riot town. We're just too laid back.

I just hope this stuff doesn't affect the Park and Ride routes today.
