That dancing video is scandalous isn't something I thought people still do in 2019.

This is hilarious. And what’s even more hilarious is not only the attention they are giving her elevating her as a viral social media superstar, they are also elevating her “insane” policy into now being discussed at an insane level.

Who was seriously talking about the “Green New Deal” before the RightWinger AOC hate obsession craze? Climate change economic growth strategy would be wildly popular if people actually had a plan and people talked about it. Criticize her plan all you want but the fact that she plunged this into the mainstream discussion is a massive achievement.

Taxing rich dudes... hell yeah let’s talk about it. Making that an active conversation is another major accomplishment.

I didn’t know or care about her since she was just a random congresswomen in New York.

Just pointing out that technically both assertations can be simultaneously true.

Certainly, Ocasio-Cortez isnt the first to point out that Trump's denunciations of racists seem pro forma and more that a little bit tepid. When I say "both sides" I hope you know to what I refer.

 

A nuanced and factually accurate statement.

 

The original posting criticized her. Dont want to look it up, but something something "mindless socislist" comes to mind? Maybe she isnt precice in relating the specific complaints raised when posted, but whomever posted it wasn't trying to make her look good.

Now why this person though it would embarrass her is another question. They clearly miscalculated.

I think saying that the "GOP is up in arms" isnt accurate, but I'd probably phrase my response similarly if I were her.
