He gave a pretty good analysis, but you didn't read because you're strangely butt hurt about him creating a thread about his observations. Maybe you just want more Lebron in Houston threads.

So when Lin does't play well! It is the other 4 guys on the court fault Or the couch ?

    If that was true....

Don't you think that his teammate gave up on him cuz they know well his limitation?

No one played well in the 2nd half. If you didn't get the memo, they scored 19 points. Get off your f'n high horse.

The team doesn't trust Lin because the coaches doesn't trust him. How do you expect your team to trust the PG when the coaches don't trust him during crunch time?

This must be addressed. One of our problems IS NOT WHO BRINGS THE BALL UP THE COURT!

One of the advantages the team has is that 4 guys can dribble the ball. So when Jones gets the board he will push the pace which we need.

Now, why do you think you deserve your own thread? Post this **** in the game thread like the rest of us...

WRONG! You like his observations because it is pro-lin, anyone who doesn't jerk Lin off is wrong to people like you.

There is already a thread where you can review the came and post observations...we don't need a new one.

I only judge based on the content of the posts. I didn't say anything about any posters heritage or race.

Why don't you let Clutch or the mods decide whether this thread needs to be merged/locked instead of telling people what to do?

This thread is rated 5 stars so may be it's worthy of something?

Who brings the ball up actually matters. Coach Mchale kept emphasizing on pushing the pace and yet, if you let Tjones or Parsons bring it up instead of Lin or Harden, the other team will likely have time for their defense to set up since Tjones and Parsons are slow compared to Lin. Furthermore, if they bring the ball up, they themselves will have to spend extra time to position themselves and again, that let's their opponents to set up their defense. I have no problem with Harden bringing the ball up even though he's slower than Lin because he's the best player on the team and obviously he can create for himself.

Dip****, Jones taking the rebound and running the ball is pushing the pace. Jones can beat his man up the court, that puts pressure on the defense. All of a sudden the opposing 4 has to defend Jones on the perimeter. It also opens up the paint for Howard to get deep position under the basket.

Besides, the problems with the team are bigger than who dribbles the ball up the court. Using Jones as an example, he makes brain dead plays to often. Last night 3 or 4 times to would pass the ball to a player who had a defender right on there hip.

What you have highlighted as the major problems are NOT the major problems.

If we rely strictly on run and gun we won't get anywhere in the playoffs. We suck in the half court, so we have to get BETTER IN THE HALF COURT! Simple as that.

The other thing that makes it harder to run and push the pace...when the opposition scores. If we start getting more stops then we can run more.

Lin is the jack of all trade, master of none...everybody wants his position, wh0 wouldnt? The only reason why his team mates are not trusting him, jealousy!Parson is playing crap, howard is struggling, Harden iso play...since its being televised on TNT, everyone is trying to be an all star and forgot to play as a team...Look at Marshall in Lakers, he is consistent in having his double double...Playing the True PG of the team with consistent playing time.,,take note consistent playing time! No politics in there! The ball is moving, the bad thing is, lakers dont have the same young supporting talents that we have here in Houston, so they are losing...

I never said it is a major problem and I do recognize that there are far bigger problems the rockets need to address atm. I don't think you have good comprehension skills so you are forgiven :)

Another one. Jesus, just go read about Lebron coming to Houston, and stay out of threads that you think are pointless. The OP just gave a clear thought out interpretation of what he read. Is he a better analyst than me or you, I don't know. What do you think happened last night? You guys and your conspiracy theories. I don't care what the OP said. I read it, and thought, "not bad." His opinions really didn't stick to me. What did stick out, was the a-hole telling the OP what's up. And now you... Ughh.

Love your second observation I completely agree. When we had success agaisnt this team in the playoffs last season we beat them at small ball. We need to pull Ibaka away from the rim or force OKC to sit Perkins.

Isn't that what teams were doing to the Twin Towers. It sucks that teams can easily adjust to the Rockets line-up, but when facing the exact same situation that Houston got exploited by, McHale is incapable of making adjustments.

One major reason the Twin Towers didn't work out for us is because our perimeter D is horrible.
