Liu, The reason I am saying that Yao was being owned, is that Duncan was dunking on Yao, and Yao was leaving Robinson open on those 15 footers. Once Cato came in, he was able to close out on Robinson much faster and the defensive intensity picked up. Yao was not really in bad position, mostly he was covering for Francis who was consistently beaten off the dribble by Parker. I don't have any problem with playing the players who are hot....team is greater then individuals. Message sent.....now let's see if it is received. DD
Houston’s Cuttino Mobley can expect a call from the NBA today. There seems to be a good chance that he’ll be donating something to the "NBA Fined Players Fund". Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express-News reports that Mobley had a couple of things to say about the officiating during the Rockets’ loss to the Spurs on Monday. After an 11-0 deficit in free throws during the first half, Mobley was issued a technical for throwing his mouthpiece after a blown call by the officials. His frustration came to a boil after the officials ruled that a ball that went out of bounds was last touched by Mobley. They awarded possession to the Spurs. Replays later showed that the Spurs’ Stephen Jackson was the last to touch the ball. After the game, Mobley shouted at official Bob Delaney. "San Antonio had help," Mobley said. "It's as simple as that. They can't beat us straight up and they know it." ----------------------------------------------------------------- Didn't want to start a new thread, but I thought you guys would like some news on Mobley's yappin'.
