Trinity contained him pretty well. 14 carries for 47 yards, and 2 catches for 17 yards. He also had a long kick return, but for the most part, couldn't really get going.
Today's game between Katy and Pearland marks the first meeting between the two schools since 1959. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/7323887.html
Memorial 48, Cy-Woods 45 Good luck to the Mustangs as they await the winner of Cibolo Steele and San Antonio MacArthur.
Pearland 38, Katy 35 Congratulations to the Oilers as they will now take on San Antonio Stevens next week.
Steele and Malcolm Brown put a whoopin on Memorial last night. I happen to be in Cibolo this weekend and it was the talk of the town.

Pearland Oilers (15-0) vs. Euless Trinity (15-0) at 8 pm this Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium... Should be a great game and can't wait for it...ET is good, but I'm hoping on this night, Pearland is better... GO OILERS!!!!!
Holy hell...... all Johnathan Gray for Aledo. 320 yards and 8 TDs ( ) as they defend their 4A Division II title by a score of 69-34 over La Marque. He has got to be the top running back for next year's recruiting class. Congratulations to La Marque, as they look to be back in business in the 4A picture after a brief lull.
The game before Aledo and La Marque was the 3A DII State Championship game between Carthage and Coldspring-Oakhurst. Carthage won their 3rd straight 3A state title. It was a tough road to get it but we managed to overcome the odds.
