Nobody here is teary eyed... But when you lose one of the most influential visionaries on Earth, then its ok to pay your respects.
Why are you even posting in this thread? The man was a genius and is responsible for so much in the electronics market.
I don't think most people are getting weepy eyed over this, but rather respecting and understanding the genius and importance of this man.
You realize he helped created the mouse and modern day computer right? All of us old folk played Oregon Trail on the Apple IIe.
Whoever predicted in the stock trading thread that he had not long to live was spot on. He was an innovator & genius - RIP

I wasn't saying yall were. The guys on the show were teary eyed when they were talking about him and all my friends on facebook with quotes about how he is next to god now and how is one of the greatest people that every existed in history, etc.
RIP Steve Jobs. You were so influential in a lot of modern day technology. Wether you own an apple product or not you can bet Jobs influenced it with his great vision.
I am bearish on aapl's prospects and have been short their stock, but man, show some damn respect. Steve Jobs is a genius any way you slice it. It is a sad day when a great human being like that leaves us. RIP.
do you not realize the fact you are using a computer now is because of Steve Jobs? What is your problem? Somebody died dude, it's normally for people to feel sad.
RIP The iphone was a neat little device and its because of him that we get to show off our touch screen phones today.
I wouldn't take it that far, but yeah Jobs was a huge part in accelerating the growth of home electronics.
