The point here is that Obama is weak. No spine. Because of that, he can't be trusted to take on the terrorists.

Here is a homemade video that I'd expect we'd see some derivative of in the General:

Says the person who was too scared of mean 'ol Pakistan to want to go after known al-qaeda leaders.

Luckily the plan supported by Obama had more backbone to it than TJ's whimpering ideas on dealing with terrorists by allowing them to freely reside inside Pakistan's borders.

You need to turn up mind your own damn business if you have nothing relevant to say meter on.

It doesn't have a damn thing to do with sarcasm. It has everything to do with throwing a highly offensive term around. It's no damn wonder you support Obama and the offensive crap he's spewed. I gave your man credit for knowing better to throw that term around, maybe I shouldn't have since his supporters aren't smart enough to figure out that word is offensive to handicapped folks and their families.

Typical white person grandmas, bitter gun toting bible thumpers in PA.... Yeah he has been offensive. You just turn a blind eye to it because it doesn't offend you.

I didn't realize that you were the sensitive type to be so offended by such inoffensive words.

I will have to be very careful, not to trample your delicate mood and feelings.

I hope your constitution isn't as delegate, because with all the whining, you must wear yourself out.

    I'll be very careful.

Overact to what? I have an autistic son and I find that to be an offensive term.

As an aside...if you're really concerned about terminology....you should be saying "people with handicaps" rather then "handicapped folks." Better still would be "people with disabilities." (just pointing out -- I agree with your calling out 'r****d.').

It's all semantics -- but words are pretty powerful.

    And on topic....

Whenever I see the latest Obama attack -- why do I always feel -- Is that all they got??? If that's his worse nightmare he'll be sleeping peacefully.

It was a reference to Governor Bush not stopping the execution of a mentally handicapped person, in case you didn't get it. Which you didn't, so that's the case I'm working on.

That's a pretty lame to try to pick apart using handicapped folks and comparing that to calling someone a "r****d". And you can stick that "if your really concerned" crack, buddy.

I have taken offense to people casually throwing that word around as well. You are fully in the right here to take offense to jugdish and pgabriel's hateful speech. Nothing more than a function of their lack of learning and perspective.

Wasn't trying to get into the spitting match.

Just pointing out that "handicapped folks" or "disabled folks" is frowned upon in some circles. I didn't realize this until I started doing some work with a group that advocates on behalf of people with disabilities. They were pretty passionate about this -- and I hadn't considered it before.

Just trying to make the world a better place, my friend ;)

    No Ill Willz intended.

    Carry on.

Given your timid stance in going after the terrorists I would believe you to be sensitive and easily offended.

I hope you are OK, and won't be ill.

Alright. It was still an overreaction. The fact that you have an autistic son sucks and I'm truly sorry but it doesn't give you license to be a jerk on an internet forum and it doesn't give you license to tell other people what to think and feel.

Also, you were reacting to someone who merely pointed out that it was a sarcastic remark. That person didn't use the term that offended you. You also launched into an ill constructed tirade to nobody in particular.

Welcome to the world, Ill-Skillz. There is no right to not be offended. The best course of action is to discuss the issue in a civil tone and not sound like a raving lunatic.

And if you had any sense, you'd realize its not the execution reference you made that was offensive. It was the stupid word you used in refering to a mentally handicapped person.

Tell you what...show up at this event on Saturday http://www.nscd.org/programs/abilitycamp_texans.htm and toss that word around. Tell some of the moms and dads there that you were referring to Bush executing a mentally handicapped person.
