I've heard people from Pakistan pronounce it both ways. I am not so sure there is a right or wrong. Now, if we could just you Americans pronouncing AUSTRALIA correctly .....
i agree with you. but my point was with this stupid article acting like its a negative thing to pronounce things the right way.
Knowing quite a few people from that area, I wouldn't be so sure. I can tell you any time Obama talks about Pakistan, people I know always praise him for how he says Pakistan. Now I am not saying that Pakistanis don't mind Obama invading their country, but I'd bet my life on it they'd rather it be Obama than McCain.
Can't edit, so let me just add this on: I didn't mean McCain would invade Pakistan, but in my experience, Pakistanis are much more afraid of John McCain and his agenda in that area than they are of Obama's agenda.
