The tapes in Blago's case exonerate Obama of corruption in that deal not incriminate him. I didn't blame Bush, I doubt your sincerity since Bush had a much worse record of civil rights, and you didn't speak out then, nor do you remark on it now. It isn't blaming your Bush, just doubting your sincerity in regards to civil rights. The statements on Fox about the DOJ, aren't squat. They just don't prove anything. The new Black Panthers were not supporters of one candidate or the other, and I'm not sure who was intimidated by them.
The tapes go beyond that. They show that when Blago hinted at quid pro quo, Obama's team stopped talking to him about it. The problem is that some people don't look at the facts and believe what others tell them about the facts, even if it's completely detached from reality.
No, I did not. I have a policy, I will not watch any video from MSNBC, CNN, or Fox with a single exception. I will watch CNN for hurricane coverage. When real journalists write an article that has been fact checked, I will be happy to consider the charges legitimate. Of course, you haven't provided a shred of evidence about the nonexistent roles in the Blago situation. So far, the only thing implicating anyone in the administration are Fox "News" people and the right wing bloggers that echo them. The question of whether Holder ordered the case is supposition and even the person making the accusation says he can't say whether that is the case. Once again, I ran a search for 'Holder order "black panthers"' and the only thing that came up were Fox articles and articles from right wing bloggers citing Fox. Those tapes have been pored over by journalists so many times that if there was something there, AP and Reuters would have been on it just behind Fox (because AP and Reuters have fact checkers who have to do their jobs before the stories run). Yeah, a Nobel prize is the biggest dis of all time. You ask for bipartisanship and then when a hand is extended across the aisle, you call it "dithering." This is the reason that Obama should just be a progressive flat out. I think if he went that way, the midterms would be a bloodbath with the Democrats coming out on top. No, you didn't mention them, just the accusations that ONLY Fox is pushing, if the case had any merit, REAL news organizations would be all over it just like they were all over Bush and just like they were all over Clinton. If you make accusations that ONLY Fox is making, it is pretty easy to see where you are getting your outrage. FWIW, I believe "testimony" is something that one puts forth on the witness stand during a trial. What we have here is a story can't be corroborated. If it could be, real journalists would be writing about it. Once they start or once you choose to quote the incriminating parts of the tapes, we can have an actual substantive discussion. I'm sorry, I thought a dangerous situation for the nation was when a president let the guy behind 9/11 go and went after the guy who tried to assassinate his daddy but instead created two quagmires instead of finding one terrorist. I thought corrupt was a president who let oil executives run national policy including wars and letting the oil industry complete bribe it's way into lack practices which led to today's mess in the gulf. And I thought incompetent was a president who's major accomplishes was to give us the biggest federal deficit in our history, drive economic hardship to the highest levels since the Great Depression, and for the first time make the world believe that America was in decline. Jimmy Carter was a better President that Bush. Right now, I rate Obama somewhere between Bush I and Clinton. You have to give the man credit he inherited a financial crisis, the worst economy in most people's lifetimes, two wars, global instability, and an catastrophic environmental disaster - yet he has still managed to pass stimulus legislation, health insurance reform, and get a good chunk of the world to the negotiating table. He's got his flaws, but geez, how can people whine about Obama after 8 years of the numnut we had in office is just amazing.

If someone working for Company A commited a DUI and this person was hired on by a Manager of the same company. Would you blame the CEO of the company and call him a drug dealer?

Very true. I'm still waiting for thumbs to produce facts in any of the corruption cases he's arguing. He has disgruntled people bad mouthing the DoJ, but nothing of substance. He can't even say who was supposed to be intimidated by the people in the video. He argues that the Blago tapes which actually prove a lack of corruption on the administration's part are evidence. What he's saying makes no sense, and despite his claims of good will/non-partisan discussions he's starting to look like a conspiracy theorist who will believe anything said against Obama regardless of facts and evidence to the contrary.
