My wife started a Facebook thread about how little she cared about the royal wedding. I replied that you couldn't measure the amount I care with an electron microscope.
Gosh, at least Palin had some smidgen of political experience. Trump wouldn't last 2 minutes in a debate. Curious to see how he performs if this turns out to be serious.
The only difference is that Trump would at least study before a debate so that he had some level of understanding on the issues. Palin knew nothing.
"It would be a big mistake for everyone to jump to a conclusion now based on the release of this document, which raises as many questions as it answers." -- Joseph Farah, founder/editor of World Net Daily birthers/the tea party will never give it up
I don't see the problem with waiting to release the document. Had he done so in the very beginning, he would have set a precedent that the President of the United States should have no problem taking the time out of his day to debunk every wild claim (true or false) that crackpot right wingers could conjure up moving forward. Then if he didn't, it would result in making those claims look valid. I actually feel this was a good time to finally put the issue to rest, directly after a potential Republican candidate and prominent media mogul starts babbling about it to anyone who will listen.
From The Onion Whoever suggested earlier that all this birther nonsense had died down until Trump revived it is wrong. This stuff hasn't gone away for some ungodly reason, maybe the three or four idiots in this thread can explain why. I'm not sure whether this was a good political move or not, but ultimately it doesn't change anything. When in doubt, don't feed the trolls!
per wiki Philip J. Berg (born April 13, 1944) is an American activist attorney who brought a RICO lawsuit charging president George W. Bush and 154 others with complicity in the 9/11 attacks, and another suit challenging the eligibility of Barack Obama to become President of the United States.
take five minutes <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/bnYJI4QTpXs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> [edit] And can I say, as an American, how ****ing embarrassing it is that our President would have to do something like this.
Plenty of time has passed to have backtracked and counter-fitted this so called 'long form'. Don't believe for a second this President is above that.
hi "certer".. what has Obama "lied so often and so egregiously" about? what are the different issues he campaigned on and how did he change? what policies and practices are these that no other president has done before him?
Well, Guantanamo, for instance. Not really unexpected. But seriously, thumbs, Obama is a threat to the survival of America? I mean, really? It's stupid crap like this that's probably going to make vote for him in this election at the rate things are going, as the GOP continues to lose its stinking mind.
so that's one thumbs said Obama lied about "virtually every issue" he campaigned on he justifies his "birther" beliefs with nuttier complaints about obama
When 45% of conservatives think Obama is not a U.S. citizen, that's a problem. Obama is clearly feeling worried about people actually beginning to think he is not a u.s. citizen. Was this a weak move? I'm not entirely sure. Clinton would never give in until he had his enemies so out on a limb he could really destroy them. But then again, it was a total circus and it seemed the responsible thing to do. But then I ask, what would a truly strong moral person do? What would a MLK or Gandhi do? They would
